Komen Race for Cure: More than Pink Shirts, Ribbons and Tutus

Thirty Kelsey-Seybold walkers and runners sporting can’t-miss, hot-pink T-shirts joined thousands of other breast cancer supporters in brightening up the rainy streets of Houston for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018. Kelsey-Seybold raised more than $11,000 to help in the fight against breast cancer.

The event started with an exciting opening ceremony that livened up the crowd, featuring local survivors, local news anchors, a soccer legend, and Mayor Sylvestor Turner.

Not only is Race for the Cure a 5K walk and competitive run, it’s the largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer ever created. The Komen Houston Race for the Cure raises significant funds for the breast cancer movement.

Kelsey-Seybold is a proud supporter of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and looks forward to supporting this effort again in October.
