Kelsey-Seybold Opens New Clinic in Baytown
East Harris and West Chambers County residents now have easy access to Kelsey-Seybold's brand of coordinated and evidence-based care
Houston (July 15, 2019) – On July 15, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic opened a new 11,000-square-foot primary care clinic in Baytown. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Baytown is located at 6300 Garth Road, Suite 200 in Baytown, in the Baytown Shops retail center anchored by H-E-B, less than 1 mile south of Interstate 10.
The new clinic represents a significant investment in the Baytown community, with two board-certified Family Medicine physicians offering comprehensive care for adults and children and room for growth. The new clinic has the capacity for up to six providers.
"Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is known in the Greater Houston area for the outstanding quality and value it offers to patients and employers seeking coordinated care," said Angela Guerra, M.D., managing physician of Kelsey-Seybold – Baytown. "We're excited to be able to expand access to individuals and families east of Houston and look forward to caring for individuals and families living in Baytown and the surrounding area."
Physicians providing care to patients at the Baytown Clinic include Angela Guerra, M.D., and Kimberlie Gonzalez, M.D., both Family Medicine physicians.
The newly opened Baytown Clinic expands access to coordinated, evidence-based care in an area that is experiencing accelerated growth, especially in the communities just north of I-10.
Patients seen at the Baytown Clinic will also have access to an on-site laboratory and X-ray, as well as an extensive referral network for various Kelsey-Seybold specialists with offices at neighboring clinics in Pasadena, Summer Creek (Humble), Clear Lake, and the Spencer R. Berthelsen Main Campus. Future plans for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Baytown include expanding access to specialties through Virtual Care consults, an added convenience for new and existing patients.
"Since starting construction last year, we've been canvassing the Baytown area, meeting with other business owners and residents. Everyone is so welcoming and the energy around our new clinic is so positive. We couldn't be happier to be opening a new clinic in this area," said Stuart Cayer, director of Ambulatory Care, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.
