Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Welcomes Rheumatology, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Optometry Services to FM 1960 Clinics
Houston (July 23, 2004) – For more than fifty years, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has provided quality health care and outpatient services to the Houston area. In its continuing commitment to deliver quality patient care, Kelsey-Seybold is pleased to announce these new services to their clinics.
Kelsey-Seybold Willowbrook Clinic, located at 18220 Tomball Parkway, welcomes Hema Salvady, M.D. to their Rheumatology department. Kelsey-Seybold Champions Clinic, located at 15555 Kuykendahl, Suite 400, welcomes Melinda Rainey, M.D. to their Pediatric Ophthalmology department and Laura Zivley, OD to their Optometry department.
Hema Salvady, MD, joined the Rheumatology department at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic on November 17, 2003. Dr. Salvady is a graduate of Gandhi Medical College in India. She completed her internship at Gandhi Medical College and residency at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania and a fellowship in rheumatology at Wayne State University in Michigan. Dr. Salvady is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and her areas of clinical interest include rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and scleroderma. She has been at the Willowbrook Clinic since May of 2004.
Melinda Rainey, MD, joined the Ophthalmology department at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic on August 4, 1997. Dr. Rainey is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine with fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult eye muscle problems form Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Rainey is board certified in Ophthalmology and her areas of clinical interest include amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (eye muscle imbalances). She started seeing patients at the Champions Clinic in June of 2004.
Laura Zivley, OD, joined the Optometry department at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic on June 17, 2002. Dr. Zively is a graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry and is certified by the Texas Optometry Board.
