Kelsey-Seybold Announces New Clinic in River Oaks

Newest location will expand access to coordinated, evidence-based care for River Oaks, Montrose, and Lower Heights area residents

Houston (January 5, 2021) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic announced plans today to build a 12,500-square-foot clinic in the historic River Oaks Shopping Center. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – River Oaks will be located at 2040 West Gray St., Suite 200, Units A2A and A0C on the corner of West Gray St. and Shepherd Drive. The new clinic represents Kelsey-Seybold's commitment to bring coordinated, multispecialty care to more neighborhoods across Houston. The new clinic will have space for seven providers and offer comprehensive care for adults of all ages. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – River Oaks is planned to open in fall 2021.

The new clinic will expand access to coordinated, evidence-based care to patients in the River Oaks, Montrose, and Lower Heights communities that values high quality and convenience. Patients will have access to on-site diagnostic services, including laboratory, EKG, X-ray, and an extensive referral network of Kelsey-Seybold specialists with offices at neighboring clinics – Downtown at The Shops, Berthelsen Main Campus, Tanglewood, and Woman's Center.

The River Oaks Shopping Center is an open-air specialty shopping center with over 300,000-square-feet of retail space with a wide variety of local and national retailers, upscale restaurants, and entertainment.

The new River Oaks clinic is being designed by Powers Brown Architecture. Elegant and modern finishes, such as wood ceilings, sleek glossy white decorative wall paneling, and wood accent walls will accentuate the new clinic, and the lobby will be filled with natural light to enhance patient comfort. New entryway doors closer to the adjacent parking garage and an internal elevator are being added to enhance convenience and the patient experience. Gamma Construction has been named general contractor for this project.
