Vinit Oommen, MD, graduated from the University of Pécs Medical School in Hungary in 2012. He then was post-doctoral research fellow in 2014 and 2015 at the Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital’s Multiple Sclerosis Center, where he also completed his residency in 2018. Dr. Oommen joined Kelsey-Seybold as a hospitalist in July 2024.

Dr. Oommen was inspired to go into medicine by his time living abroad, where he witnessed the selfless work of medical missionaries and their holistic approach. As a Kelsey-Seybold hospitalist, Dr. Oommen’s role is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients during their hospital stays, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and support and successfully transition to post-discharge follow-up care.
