About Berthelsen Main Campus
Taking care of your health is easier than ever at our Spencer R. Berthelsen, MD, Main Campus multispecialty clinic, conveniently located just outside the Texas Medical Center and serving Rice Village and surrounding communities.
Our flagship clinic offers an on-site Kelsey Pharmacy, laboratory, X-ray, and advanced diagnostic services including CT, MRI, digital mammography with 3D breast tomosynthesis, and PET scans, so you have easy access to the high-quality care you deserve all under one roof. For your convenience, we also offer plenty of free surface-level parking and complimentary valet parking.
The Berthelsen Main Campus also houses our nationally accredited Cancer Center, Breast Diagnostic Center, and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), the largest freestanding ASC in Texas. The clinic was named in honor of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s former Chairman of the Board and Managing Director Spencer R. Berthelsen who retired in 2017.

Our Berthelsen Main Campus Clinic is welcoming new patients and accepts more than 50 health insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is also in-network with the following Medicare Advantage Plans: KelseyCare Advantage, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and WellCare.
