In 2019, Zayeem Zaman, DO, earned his medical degree at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine in Henderson. He went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente Orange County in 2022 and a Sports Medicine fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles in 2023. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2023.
As a child, Dr. Zaman was inspired to become a physician by the doctors who cared for his mother and his father, who had told him that a good doctor is one who listens to and cares for patients. He provides comprehensive medical care to a wide range of patients, addressing their general health and specific sports-related concerns. Patients see him for routine checkups, vaccinations, and management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and asthma. Patients involved in sports or physical activities may see Dr. Zaman for injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures, or concussions. He also helps manage patients with non-sports-related musculoskeletal issues like arthritis or joint problems. His goal is to promote overall health and well-being, emphasizing the importance of exercise, proper nutrition, and lifestyle choices to prevent illness and injury. As a Family Medicine and Sports Medicine physician, his favorite part of practicing medicine combines elements of patient care, personal connection, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
