Professional Background
Tomas Flores, MD, is a board-certified internist who attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, completing his medical degree in 2011. From there, he went on to California, completing his internship and Internal Medicine residency at the Los Angeles General Medical Center in 2014. Dr. Flores joined Kelsey-Seybold’s medical staff in February 2025.
Dr. Flores was inspired to practice medicine by his love for science and his love for people. He provides primary care for adult patients, including well-care and sick care for acute illness, such as pain or cold and flu symptoms, and chronic adult diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. In his practice, he most enjoys helping and meeting new people and learning new things together with his patients.
Dr. Flores builds trust with his patients by listening and being completely transparent when providing educational answers to their clinical questions. This approach helps him commit to each patient’s needs as solidly as possible.
Hobbies and Interests
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Flores likes to run marathons. He also plays guitar and is very active at church.
