For her undergraduate studies, Dr. Chae went to Harvard College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with highest honors in Biology in 1995. Dr. Chae continued her education at Harvard Medical School, receiving her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Doctorate in Medicine in 2004. For her postgraduate training, Dr. Chae interned in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She concluded her education at Baylor College of Medicine in 2008 where she completed a residency in Ophthalmology.
