Fun Facts

The most interesting place Dr. Patel has visited is Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where patients often traveled for hours by bus to receive oncology care. Dr. Patel enjoyed an enlightening experience there training local oncologists and preparing them to go back to their home cities to provide much-needed care so that patients wouldn’t have to travel so far.

Not many people know this about Dr. Patel, but he grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, so he’s a big fan of Cleveland sports teams, especially the Browns and Cavaliers.

Dr. Patel’s guilty pleasure is watching game shows. Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and The Price is Right are his favorites!
