Smita Saraykar, MD, MPH, earned her medical degree from the Government Medical College in India in 2002. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas, School of Public Health, in Houston in 2005. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Georgia in 2024, then joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2024.

Dr. Saraykar became a physician to serve as a healthcare expert who coordinates care across all specialties for not just her patients but for their entire families. As a primary care physician, she sees patients for a wide range of needs. She is dedicated to diagnosing and treating various illnesses, including acute conditions such as respiratory, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary infections. Additionally, Dr. Saraykar manages chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and heart disease. She also performs joint injections and addresses allergies, chronic kidney disease, and obesity.

In her practice, Dr. Saraykar emphasizes preventive care, offering routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, and screening tests.
