Dr. Shoshana Nock completed her Doctor of Optometry in 2002 and her Cornea and Contact Lens residency in 2003 at the University of Houston College of Optometry in Texas. She also completed the Global Health Certificate Program at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, M.D., in 2015.

Dr. Nock has worked in a variety of clinical practices over the course of her medical career. She cared for patients at Memorial Eye in Houston from 2003 to 2006, the Brien Holden Institute in Melbourne, Australia from 2008 to 2009, Outreach Eye Care in Houston from 2010 to 2011, Home Eye Doc in Houston from 2011 to 2012, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2012 to 2013, and Opia Vision Center in Houston from 2018 to 2020. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2020.

Dr. Nock enjoys running, traveling, and food – she’s a “foodie”!

Fun Facts

The best advice she has received is, “Do unto others as you would have done to you.”

Dr. Nock has had the pleasure of living in three amazing countries: Russia, Australia, and South Africa. She has traveled to even more amazing places: Uganda, Vietnam, and India. Each of these is beautiful and exotic in its own different way.
