Dr. Sherry Lemley is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with added certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1998. She completed her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2002. She completed a General Surgery internship at Baylor College of Medicine in 2003 and her Family Medicine residency at Conroe Medical Education Foundation in 2006. Dr. Lemley also completed the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Leadership Forum: Ascend, Elevate, Ignite in 2019 as part of her post-graduate training.

Dr. Lemley’s medical career includes recent positions as Assistant Professor of Palliative Medicine at UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School from 2015 to 2018 and Hospice Medical Director and General Inpatient Unit Attending Physician at Harbor Hospice from 2018 to 2021. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in April 2022.

Dr. Lemley enjoys spending time with family, traveling, yoga, reading, and walking and hiking.

The most interesting place Dr. Lemley has visited so far is Hong Kong.

Not everyone knows this about Dr. Lemley, but she was a licensed vocational nurse for 13 years before going to medical school.

Her guilty pleasure is Dr. Pepper Zero.
