Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Peter Ang, MD, FACP, earned his medical degree at the University of the Philippines in Manila in 1985. After completing an internship and residency in the Philippines, Dr. Ang relocated to the U.S. and completed an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, in 1991, followed by a Geriatrics fellowship at Harvard Medical School in 1993. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in December 2024.
Inspired by his grandmother to pursue medicine, Dr. Ang specializes in primary care for adult patients. In addition to providing well care and immunizations, he diagnoses and treats a variety of medical conditions, such as acute illness and injuries as well as chronic conditions like osteoarthritis, diabetes, obesity, back pain, and more. As a physician, Dr. Ang most enjoys the opportunity to make a positive difference in his patients’ lives.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Ang prioritizes listening and paying careful attention to provide compassionate, empathetic, and holistic care for his patients. No matter his patients’ concerns, he works hard to offer precise and appropriate treatments, consulting with specialists and conducting research when needed to answer all his patients’ questions.
Hobbies and Interests
When not caring for patients, Dr. Ang spends his free time drawing, going to the gym, or running and walking to stay in shape.
