Monique Allman, PA-C, first attended Hampton University, earning her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. She then earned her Master of Science – Physician Assistant Studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2009. Monique joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Allergy and Immunology department as a certified physician assistant in March 2025.
By pursuing a career in medicine, Monique follows in the footsteps of her mother, an operating room nurse who cared for people in some of their most vulnerable times. As a certified physician assistant, Monique sees patients presenting with a wide variety of allergic conditions, including rhinitis and respiratory allergies, eczema, chronic urticaria, asthma, and food allergies. She works to provide patient-centered care, ensuring the patient plays an integral part in the decision-making process. In her work, she most enjoys being able to help individuals improve their medical conditions and enhance their quality of life.
Philosophy of Care
Monique listens attentively to her patients’ concerns, working together with them to determine the best steps in care. She knows that by collaborating with her patients and ensuring they are part of the decision-making process, patients are more likely to succeed in reaching their wellness goals.
Hobbies & Interests
Away from Kelsey-Seybold, Monique enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring all the Houston area has to offer. She also loves going to museums, traveling, reading, and walking.
