Mishal Uddin, DO, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. She earned her medical degree at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, in 2021. From there, Dr. Uddin relocated to Texas, completing her internship and Family Medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2024. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in March 2025.
Inspired by her father, a cardiologist, to become a physician, Dr. Uddin provides patient-centric primary care to patients of all ages. She offers preventive and sick care for acute conditions such as injuries and respiratory infections, as well as chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and thyroid disorders, to name a few. Dr. Uddin’s favorite aspect of practicing medicine is having the ability to make a positive change in someone's health journey so they can live their life to the fullest.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Uddin focuses on listening to her patients and being as attentive as possible to what matters most to them in their health and lives. She prioritizes preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and collaboration — both with the patient and her medical team and specialists — in order to provide the most comprehensive, evidence-based medicine.
Hobbies and Interests
When not caring for patients, Dr. Uddin enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Houston's food scene, and traveling whenever she can.
