Fun Facts

The best advice Dr. Ting has received is “Life is a marathon, not a sprint.”

The most exotic/interesting place Dr. Ting has lived is Beijing, China, where he studied for a year while in college. He’s also been to more than 40 countries, the most memorable of which is South Africa, where he spent time in Cape Town.

Not everyone knows this about Dr. Ting, but he played the Chinese harp (guzheng) for over 25 years.

His guilty pleasure is a dry aged steak. As a child, he wanted to grow up to be an astronaut so he could “see the world!”
