Jessica Zheng, PA-C, graduated with her Bachelor of Science and Arts in human development and family sciences from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020. She then went to Galveston, attending the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine to earn her Master of Science in physician assistant studies in 2023. Jessica joined Kelsey-Seybold’s Gastroenterology department as a physician assistant in January 2025.
Shown the value of hard work and perseverance by her parents, who were immigrants, Jessica became a physician assistant to fulfill her deep sense of responsibility to give back to others. She treats a variety of gastrointestinal conditions including colon cancer screenings, constipation, diarrhea, GERD, dysphasia, elevated liver enzymes, inflammatory bowel disease, and fatty liver. Her clinical interests include the treatment and management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Jessica encourages her patients to participate in decision making about their health and enjoys seeing the positive impact that high-quality, collaborative, and compassionate care can have on her patients’ healing journeys.

By listening actively and explaining medical information in simple, clear terms, Jessica takes the time to effectively and empathetically communicate with her patients. By treating every patient with compassion and respect, she creates a comforting environment to ensure her patients feel understood, valued, and fully supported.
Hobbies & Interests
In her spare time, Jessica loves cafe hopping to find the best coffee shops in Houston. She is also a big foodie and loves trying out different cuisines and posting Yelp reviews on her experiences. She also enjoys playing tennis and pickleball with her friends.
