Dr. James Hoyle is Medical Director of Clinical Operations at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.

Dr. Hoyle is a transplanted North Carolinian, having attended Wake Forest University and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine prior to moving to Houston in 1972 for his residency. 

Following a military commitment in the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command, he returned to Houston in 1978 and joined the Kelsey-Seybold medical staff in general Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. In 1987, he began his tenure as Chairman of Pediatrics, a title which he held until 1994 when he began serving as Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's  Primary Care Medical Director.

Dr. Hoyle has been the Medical Director of Clinical Operations for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic since 1999.

Awards & Publications

Dr. Hoyle was awarded the 2012 Texas Pediatric Society Sidney Kaliski Award of Merit for his outstanding contributions to the health and welfare of the children of Texas, to the Texas Pediatric Society and to the TPS Foundation.

"James Hoyle, MD, Houston is the recipient of the TPS Sidney R. Kaliski Award of Merit in recognition of his many and continuing contributions to the TPS and the children of Texas. He has held several officer positions on the TPS Executive Board including President and in 2001 he became one of founding members of the TPS Foundation and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for two years from 2005 thru 2006. He currently still serves on the TPS Foundation Board and continues to provide his expertise by serving on the TPS Committee on Adolescence." -Texas Pediatric Society

He has consistently been named a "Super Doctor" by Texas Monthly magazine and is among the most respected physicians in Texas.
