As a physician, Dr. Ahmed sought to pursue a career that combined knowledge of the human body, hands-on procedural skills, and service to others. She sees patients for various pain conditions, including back pain, neck pain, hip pain, knee pain or other joint pain, and nerve pain conditions. When appropriate, Dr. Ahmed offers treatments such as epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, sacroiliac joint injections, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, trigger point injections, Botox injections, bursa injections, intra-articular joint injection, spinal cord stimulators, peripheral nerve stimulators, and medication management for pain. Her favorite part of practicing medicine is using her knowledge and training to make a difference in someone's health.
Dr. Ahmed focuses on listening to her patients, answering questions, and empowering patients to be involved in their care plans and overall health. Her approach to patient care is centered on applying evidence-based medicine within a holistic approach that involves a combination of medication and procedures to manage pain.
Hobbies and Interests
