After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in cell and molecular biology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2013, Garrett Levy-Meeks, MD, attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2019. He followed with a Family Medicine residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in 2022, going on from there to complete a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at McGovern Medical School in 2023. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2023.
Dr. Levy-Meeks’ inspiration for pursuing medicine was his childhood doctor, memorable for his warm and personable bedside manner. Dr. Levy-Meeks treats a wide range of conditions from common infections, diabetes, and depression to more complex medical cases. His clinical interests include hypertension, Type 2 diabetes, asthma, mood disorders, and gender medicine. He also enjoys working collaboratively to ensure every patient is cared for as a whole person and to help patients live better lives.
