Courtney Champagne, FNP-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 from Texas Woman's University. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2022. In 2023, she won the Faculty Award of Excellence at Cizik School of Nursing.

Courtney was inspired to become a nurse practitioner because she enjoyed the complexities of diagnosing and treating patients while still being able to provide the personalized care that nurses are known for. Courtney’s cares for patients who have a high risk for developing cancer, have completed cancer treatment, or have anemia or low blood counts. Her favorite part of being a nurse practitioner is developing a relationship with her patients and empowering them to feel cared for and heard. She also enjoys providing patients with education on their disease process, treatment plans, and risk reduction strategies.

Hobbies & Interests

Courtney enjoys reading and crafting in her spare time. She especially enjoys cross stitching, crochet, and creating wood yard signs for seasonal decorations.

Courtney is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Oncology Nursing Society.
