Chintan Shah, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in movement disorders. He received his Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso in 2016 and completed his residency in 2020 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In 2022, Dr. Shah completed his fellowship training at the Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Shah has served as the co-investigator on several research projects to help advance the care of people who have neurological disorders. In addition, he has co-authored several scientific papers and has presented at national meetings, including the American Academy of Neurology.

He joined Kelsey Seybold in August 2022.

Hobbies & Interests

Dr. Shah enjoys traveling to different countries, landscape and nature photography, playing cricket, spending time with family and friends, and exploring different restaurants around the city.

Fun Facts

The best advice Dr. Shah has received is “There is a lot you can solve just by listening.”

The most exotic place he has visited is the Himalayas.

Not everyone knows this about Dr. Shah, but he was part of a fusion dance team at The University of Texas at Austin where they combined hip-hop with a traditional Indian dancing style called bhangra.

As a kid, he wanted to be a detective. He loved solving mysteries and puzzles. Interestingly, Neurology also requires some detective skills.
