Atasu Nayak, M.D. is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease, Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiography, Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Intervention. Dr. Nayak earned his medical degree from Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical School in India. He completed his internship and residency at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in New York. He completed a fellowship in Cardiology at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center and the University of Missouri—Columbia. He completed his Intervention Cardiology Fellowship at Lahey Clinic, Boston in 2003.

Dr. Nayak has been recognized for providing outstanding cardiovascular and stroke care by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA) Heart/Stroke Recognition Program. Recognition through the Heart/Stroke Recognition program is achieved as the result of a comprehensive, individualized review process that verifies a physician’s adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients with cardiovascular disease or who have had a stroke.
