For her undergraduate degree, Dr. Rizzutto attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. In 2005, she completed her doctoral studies at the LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans before going to The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the Memorial Hermann Hospital Residency Program.
Awards & Publications
Dr. Rizzutto’s clinical research includes a study of pregnancy outcomes after trauma, in conjunction with Stephen Patrick, M.D., Karen Schneider, M.D., and Sean Blackwell, M.D. She presented her findings at The UT Health Science Center on Annual Resident Research Day in June 2008.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Rizzutto enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and shopping.
